On Sunday 21st Feb 2010 at the Royal Opera House, the stars were out in full force. The first to arrive was Duncan James and his E! Red Carpet co-presenter.
Duncan looked swerve in a dark gray pin striped suit, looking hot.
Anna Kendrick, nominated for supporting actress, was one of the first A-listers to arrive. She looked gorgeous in a yellow strapless dress.
Christoph Waltz, supporting actor winner, arrived in a lovely navy blue suit and was stopping for fans, writing autographs and shaking hands. I hadn’t heard so much noise in my life, people was screaming like mad, then I realised why. Quentin Tarantino had just showed up. Sorry didn’t get any pictures of him as he breezed passed only stopping for TV presenters.
When James Cameron, nominated for 3 awards, arrived the crowds went wild, with people fulling over, and loud chant of AVATAR. He also stopped to take pics with fans and sign autographs. AVATAR was nominated for 8 awards, won 2 for Best Visual Effects and Production Design. I was glad to see that the weather held up and it wasn’t raining like every other BAFTA awards show.
Jamie Winstone and Noel Clarke were presenting awards on the night and it was nice to see them on the red carpet, representing for the UK B-list. Kimberley Walsh was also on the red carpet presenting what was going on for MTV, loved her dress by the way.
Carey Mulligan, Leading actress winner, wore a beautiful dress walking down the red carpet.
